What’s New for the 2024 BMW X3?
Sitting between the X1 and the X5, the BMW X3 is a two-row luxury crossover with magnetic appeal. Balancing a combination of sportiness and refinement, the X3 covers the bases as an all-around excellent option. The X3 was boldly redesigned in 2022, and a few minor updates were made in 2023. With these exciting improvements, BMW has not changed the 2024 X3.
The 2024 X3 displays a premium look with rigorous upper and lower definition across the doors and subtly molded rear fenders. The tall, rounded roofline pairs with an arched, defined hood. The front end has a sporty look with outward-trending angles across the LED headlights, lower fascia, and air vents. Keeping with BMW’s traditional body language, the chrome grille displays a kidney shape. All trims have a power liftgate, auto-dimming side mirrors, and auto high beams. Optional packages and higher trims may add smart keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof, up to 21-inch wheels, performance tires, and a trailer hitch.
The BMW X3 is engineered to deliver the agility and power that you desire. The first two of the three trims for 2024 come with a turbocharged 2.0-liter, four-cylinder system that puts out 248 horsepower. The high-performance trim level, the M40i, has a mild-hybrid, 3.0-liter, V6 engine that generates 382 horsepower. The entry-level trim features rear-wheel drive and an eight-speed auto transmission. The other two trims have the same transmission with all-wheel drive. Select X3 crossovers also have adaptive steering, upgraded brakes, a performance rear differential, and adaptive suspension dampers.
Your excellent experience behind the wheel of the 2024 BMW X3 continues with its exciting features. The entry-level trim features front and rear parking sensors, a push-button ignition, synthetic leather upholstery, remote vehicle monitoring, a 12-speaker sound system, a wireless internet hotspot, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a navigation system, a 10.25-inch infotainment system screen and a 10.25-inch screen for the digital driver’s instruments. Higher trims and packages are also available with a head-up display, larger display screens, heated seats in both rows, a heated steering wheel, a surround-view camera, adaptive cruise control, a Harman Kardon sound system, a wireless charging pad, leather upholstery, and a few others.
